This was really cute! I enjoyed this a lot, seeing Red's quiet thought processes in the post-game. The ending line is really strong.
I'm not sure how to give concrit, but I might have taken a more scene-oriented method to writing this fic, to allow me to show more and tell less? Like, instead of saying "Red doesn't like it when kids go up to him and stare at him," I might have actually written a scene where a child comes up to Red and allowed Red to react. That way, the reader still gets the sense of Red's unease and hesitation, as well as the public's adoration, without me having to say it so explicitly.
I like the idea of Red wanting equal challenges, and having trepidation about staying on Mt. Silver all the time. I think it makes sense that he wouldn't go forward with such unshakeable confidence about something so obviously insane (Red, honey, where is your cold weather gear). But I like your explanation of why he does it. This was a fun character study, and I enjoyed reading it! Thank you!
